About me

This is no 'answer' as to why people should/ought to get to know me - I'd find that hiddeously self-righteous. So, here are some of the things I like and dislike. I prefer to keep things simple. If, after reading further, you would like to get to know me, then send me an email. To begin with, I am an easy-going, open-minded, somewhat off-beat individual. I enjoy reading (modern fiction - a special liking for magical realism, autobiographies, classic literature) cooking, eating (love spicy food), being creative, lengthy discussions, science, film (drama, comedy, art, documentatries), art (architecture, design, photography), music (very broad taste, rock, alternative, jazz, classical), knowledge (on any topic I find interesting - generally, science, philosophy, astronomy, animal psychology, biology, culture, etc) and experiencing new things. Music is probably one of the biggest influences in my life. Favourite bands include: Radiohead, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, Nick Cave, etc (I could go on and on and on). If you enjoy all these bands, I'd love to hear from you! I dislike people who are pretentious, ignorant and opposed to challenging their views. I am no sports fanatic, or socialite. I prefer being social with a few people who make for interesting conversation over a couple good bottles of wine. Just recently moved to Cape Town (loving it) to continue my studies, so meeting some people with similar interests would be great. Finding someone to share my life with, well, isn't that what we are all trying to achieve here? There you have it, pretty simple.
