About me

About me; I am laid back, quiet, I like to keep things simple, I don't like drama.
I consider myself honest, forth right, dependable. I have a strong work ethic.
I have two daughters, and I am grateful for them and Love them very much. Family comes first.
I am slow to make friends, but once made, they are for life. (=very loyal)

I am looking for friendship first. Someone with similar interests we can share. A female friend to have conversation with, get to know each other.

Hopefully romance grows, if not friendships are good. I am positively a one woman man & would like to develop a long term relationship at some point.

I am not into serial daters. I am looking for someone who could develop a genuine interest in me & i in her.

Political views lean towards the conservative side. However, I consider myself very open minded.

I'm a bit introverted, this does not mean I am not sociable. It just means it takes energy from me and I need my "me" time to recharge.

I like most types of music. I tend to lean towards Rock; I have no particular preference. If its good, Its good.
My social life is modest. I tend to socialize at hiking meetups and family events. I don't care for the Bar Scene.
I prefer the outdoors. Your most likely to find me in a forest somewhere, hiking or backpacking. A field of wild flowers makes me smile. I like to take lots of pics when I hike. (I have some real awesome pics)

I like boating, water skiing, fishing, etc. . . . I like target shooting with rifles and pistols. (I am NOT a gun freak. Their just fun to shoot. ) I have recently taken up cycling and I am thinking about kayaking also.

I really like my back country hiking adventures. (I have hiked in Japan and out West some. ) I've also lost a lot of weight with the hiking; 80 pounds so far; yea!!

I am hoping to attract a person of similar interests and be able to share various experiences with them. Go to movies, dinner, hikes, just talk, etc. . . Start a friendship. (go from there) It would be nice to find someone that likes back country backpacking as much as I do.
If I wink at ya, I'm interested in meeting and talking. I prefer face to face. Not much of a text-er. If your interested wink back and I'll email you with info to arrange coffee and conversation, maybe a lunch or dinner date. Maybe at a hiking meetup. (public or group setting of course) I do read your profiles and I do not wink if I do not think there might be something. So if you think there could be at least a friendship, then wink back.

I believe the really interesting parts about people are at the frontiers. . . What questions are you asking? What parts of you are you reinventing? What mysteries captivate you? How are you making sense of your soul's journey in this life?

On the continuum between creating and experiencing, I'm most happy more on the creating side than most. As a consequence, I tend to have deeper, more vibrant relationships with artists & entrepreneurs.

Intimacy for me is listening and continually learning my partner's dreams, joys, and sorrows, both open and secret. Being aware of how my energy, words, and actions can play on those intimate touch points of hers. Only in that awareness can we create together a life filled with moments that support our dreams, celebrate our joys, and comfort our fears. From the gentle to the intense, from the sweet to the erotic, it's all about making sure you fill every day with these moments.

I'm very fortunate that my life's work is creating such change. I believe that each of us has something unique to leave behind. . Regardless of scope or impact, we each have a light, a voice inside us that the more we express it, the more we advance our corner of humanity in some way and inspire look for some but only if my true partner wants the same. .
